Institution responsible: Mixed Agricultural Cooperative of Nova Guarita – COOPERGUARITA
The project aims to strengthen the cooperative in terms of management and technical assistance, in order to ensure the quality of the coordination processes and production stages together with the seed groups that belong to the Amazon Portal Seed Network (Rede Sementes do Portal da Amazônia, in Portuguese).
To this end, activities were designed that involve planning and network learning meetings, in addition to two training sessions involving young people, seed collectors, technicians, teachers and universities. These training sessions will cover content on Tree Climbing – Techniques, Equipment and Safety Measures for Botanical and Forest Seeds Harvesting.
